Remove products you no longer use from "My Collection".
Sync after making changes.

Check your connection

A stable internet connection is recommended for syncing your product library and accessing online features.

Update the app

Make sure you're running the latest version of VirtualPools.

The dashboard looks cut off or incomplete. When opening the VirtualPools dashboard, you might occasionally notice that the layout looks incomplete or slightly off. Certain sections may appear cut off, compressed, or not fully visible. In nearly all cases, this is not a system error. It is simply the result of your screen size or browser window being too narrow, which causes the dashboard to switch to a compact layout automatically.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

You can reset your password directly through the dashboard:

Create Your First 3D Pool Design

Creating your first 3D pool design in VirtualPools is easier than you might expect. You begin with a blank project, an empty space, and gradually shape it into a complete, realistic pool that’s ready to present to a client.

Everything happens visually and in real time. As you select a pool, adjust its dimensions, choose materials, and add features, the design instantly updates in front of you. There’s no complicated setup and no technical steps to memorize. You simply build, adjust, and refine until the result matches your client’s vision.

Open the app and start designing

Open the VirtualPools app on your iPad and tap New Project.

From here, you select a pool from your collection and place it into the scene. As soon as you choose one, it appears instantly in 3D. From that moment on, everything you change updates in real time. Adjust the size, switch materials, add stairs, you immediately see the result on screen.

The app is built to feel simple and visual. You don’t need technical knowledge or design experience. You tap, adjust, and explore. If something doesn’t look right, you can change it at any time.

At the bottom of the screen, you can switch between different views:

Top View to see the layout from above
Free View to move around in 3D
Live Mode to place the pool into a real garden

What is an "Extra User" account?

An Extra User is a team member added to an existing license. They can use the mobile app to present designs, but cannot access the dashboard or modify the product catalog.

How do I get Additional User Spots to my license?

You can add Additional User Spots (team members) directly from your dashboard:

Before You Start: Check Your Available Spots

Each license includes a certain number of Additional User Spots (team members). Before inviting new users, check how many spots you have available.

From your dashboard, go to: Profile → Subscription

You will see your current subscription details, including how many user spots are available and how many are already in use.

How do I download the app?

Create Stunning Pool Visuals

Live Mode includes a built-in camera function that allows you to capture images of the pool placed in the real environment. Once your pool design is fully adjusted to your satisfaction,placement, angle, finishes, and surrounding elements, you can capture a snapshot using the camera icon.

This means the photo includes the true-scale pool placement, the surrounding garden, current lighting conditions, shadows, reflections, and any active visual effects. What you see in Live Mode is what will be saved.

These snapshots serve as a visual record of the proposed design in its real setting. They can be used to revisit decisions, compare layout options, or provide the client with a clear reference after the meeting.

For an even more polished result, captured images can later be enhanced using the AI enhancement tool available in the VirtualPools dashboard. This process improves realism and image quality, and is explained in detail later in this article.

Capture the Shot

To capture a snapshot, use the camera button in Live Mode.

Moving slightly to the side, stepping back, or lowering the device closer to the ground can significantly change the final result. Shooting from a diagonal angle often adds more depth than a straight-on view.
