Supported Devices

VirtualPools brings pool designs to life with stunning 3D visuals and immersive AR. For the best experience, VirtualPools currently supports only high‑end iPad and Android devices that meet the required performance and technical specifications.

For the best experience, we recommend using modern tablets equipped with powerful processors and sufficient RAM. Devices with up-to-date operating systems and strong graphics performance will ensure smoother navigation, faster loading times, and optimal rendering of 3D content. Choosing a recent model will help you take full advantage of all features without performance limitations.

Important Notes

  • AR performance depends heavily on processor and RAM.

  • Larger screens (11”–13”) provide a more comfortable presentation experience.

  • Performance may vary depending on external factors like background apps, device age, loaded product collection, etc.

  • For professional client demonstrations, devices in the “Excellent” tier are strongly recommended.

iPad

The table below lists the required and recommended specifications for iPads to run VirtualPools. To check your device's specifications, you first need to identify its model number. Follow the steps in Find the serial number, EID, or IMEI on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support to find your model number. When you have your model number, you can search on follow sites to get the specifications:

While the specifications listed provide general guidance, we cannot guarantee that VirtualPools will work optimally on all devices meeting these specifications. Factors beyond our control, such as hardware variations or software configurations, may impact performance.

We classify the devices into the following tiers:

  • Limited: The app should work on these devices, but limitations may occur. This could include reduced performance or functionality, or the app may not work at all due to factors beyond our control, such as other apps running in the background, device wear, or software-related issues.

  • Good: These devices meet the recommended specifications and are expected to provide a smooth and reliable experience for most features.

  • Excellent: These devices exceed the recommended specifications and are expected to deliver the best VirtualPools experience, with optimal performance and full feature compatibility.

The table below lists the Android tablet families we recommend for VirtualPools based on our testing. Performance can vary between different models within the same family, so devices with newer or more powerful processors will generally provide a smoother experience, especially in AR mode.

To check your device's specifications, first find your model number in Settings > About tablet, where it is often listed starting with "SM-". You can also check the back of your device, dial *#06#, or look at the original packaging. When you have your model number, you can search on sites like GSMArena.com - mobile phone reviews, news, specifications and more... to get the full specifications.

These devices are suitable for basic design work but may not provide the best experience during live client presentations.

  2. Good : These tablets provide a smooth and dependable experience across most features. 3D mode performs well, and AR mode is stable for typical use cases. Devices in this category are suitable for regular sales demonstrations and everyday project work.

  3. Excellent : These devices deliver the full VirtualPools experience. Both 3D and AR modes run smoothly, transitions between modes are stable, and performance remains consistent even during extended sessions. For professional presentations and Live Mode demonstrations, these tablets are strongly recommended.
